Thanks guys for all the feedback. It's all helping me come to realization that awareness of my situation, understanding more about how y'all are operating and keeping my rig in top mechanical order is the way to go.



I have to say a got a really great deal on my 2500 used and can't afford to trade up to a 3500 or bigger right now. I don't take my rig out a lot and when I do I am very careful.



The one thing I am curious about is what is the weight rating of a Dana 80? Is it 7,500Lbs?



I want to tell all of you that I am very concienctious and it does bother me some that my RV dealer basically ewas telling what the truck will physically handle, and not leagally. I think this happens a lot, because I don't see as many 3500s and fewer larger trucks towing RVs like mine.

I know this keeps spinning up, but I saw a refernce to a G rated 16 inch tire. Must be very rare if info was accurate.
