Well, got this all figured out. . have a 24 and 17. 5 plastic tank made for marine use below deck. . has slots for hold down straps. I use ratchet straps and it works good. .

The 2 valves on the "T" is to separate when I draw the fuel out by siphon. I have a primer bulb and sorta clear hose to see when fuel flows. . With my Aero 60 gal. replacement underneath, I have 100 gal. on board. . . These tanks are light when empty to take out and store in the garage when more bed space is needed. . Not bad.

The 2 pics of the long tank is the Aero 60 gal... . look at the difference between the 35 stock tank.

Eric, How do you like your Aero tank? How far can you go on just the Aero tank b4 you have to fill up? Was it hard to install?

Dan. Love the tank. . a while back I drove from salt lake city here to Portland solo and had the stock tires on. . averaged 19 mpg and was down to 1/8 tank. . that's 780 miles... last month I towed my 36' toy hauler to vegas. . 430 miles and it used 52 gal. . had a headwind on that one. . so not bad for the range with just the 60. . the 2 tanks that total 40 added to make 100 gal. makes me have a 800-900 mile tow range... not bad.

Dan, Had to do a more complete reply on my computer. . last was on my phone. .

the install was not too hard. I used 2 ratchet straps to lift it up into place, little at a time and I had to reset the ratchet part a couple times with a block of wood to hold it a minute. . this uses the stock pickup and it works good. . other than removing 1 of the OEM bolts for the old straps (Rear), it went in real good... tight clearance on frame and close to the driveshaft. .

I coated the tank all over top to bottom with the spray bedliner material as the paint job was not good... this tank uses 2 of the stock hangers on the left side and on the right, it uses a U-Bolt front and rear. . I had to shorten the fill vent and the fill hose a little and they supply extensions for the fuel lines.

This tank has a rear section that would have had an air pocket so they made a vent where that small hose is. it attaches to where you see a small port sticking up. . That hose is where I "T" into from the plastic tanks above... Also see that other vent at the top of the tank near the front? I hooked that to a vent hose that I used for that other open port on the stock tank and routed it up as high as the fuel door then back down a bit. . When I fill this even at a truckstop station, it is able to take at least the first notch or 2

That's it, hope that helps. . it is a great tank and have not had any problems with it. . tucks up real nice and does not hang down
