George,

I would try after class but that doesn't end until 1230-1300 in Lowell. I then have 'honey-do's' along with a 12 cm2 turbo housing to install. :D I'll try the next event.

Matt S, too bad, that first gen is a sweet truck to look at. ya know, the turbo housing would be a good project for us tomorrow. , Anyway, have a good weekend, aand catch you at the next meet.

Jeff

MWheaton, a Greenlee Hole punch is a punch used mainly by electricians to put holes in service panels, studs, or anything else that needs wiring passed through it. It makes a nice hole, but I'm not sure of the sizes

I would imagine that a replacement unit would be expensive.

Ok Guys, anyone have a 40mm rifle out there. we'll get a hole in ot one way or another:D :D :D

Thanks Jeff. I would have figured the day would already be filled up with stuff to do. Big Daddy has me jealous of his painted exhaust manifold so I'm going to get the wire brush out and paint it while I'm at it.

Scott,

Your too kind. I will bring some drinks and chips.

Matt,

I have just about every size hole saw except, an 1 9/16" :( I will bring the 1 1/2" and 1 5/8". One of the two may work.

big daddy i am all set

Joe trust me nothing at all no drinks the only thing in ur hand when u show up should be your lovely wife's hand and then both of you enjoy the day trust me its nothing. see ya empty handed only

massdiesel -- you are too kind

A 40mm rifle would certainly do the trick, you hold it up, and I'll target it in :D

See ya'll soon

Matt

What a turn out

Scott; thanks for the invite. Man this was quite a turn out.

Lots of fun meet new faces, see old faces and just have a ball.

The food, nice chili, good turkey, dogs, burgers etc and great cooks, yes the cooks deserve a lot of credit.

We definitely had a good time, heck even enjoyed doing a turbo and down pipe, we were clowning:rolleyes:

Some even understand better how their starter works internally.

Some found out how their fuel tank comes off.

Some know how hx40 goes on.

Some know what a difference an EZ makes on an HO

Some found out what the difference is with a waste gate blocked off

Some know how females talk on nextel radio.

And all others I missed I'm pretty sure they also found out something about increasing Hp

Once again thanks and see ya all next time if not sooner;)

Awesome time!

Hey guys, great to meet all of you! Thanks again Scott, the gauges are working great, now to just scrape some dough together for the full blown DTT TC / VB :D :D . With my EZ / elbow put back in (first thing I did when I got back home), I am a happy guy. I appreciate all the tips and tricks everyone was able to share while I was there. George, never realized what an oily mess that blow by tube was spitting out :) Thanks for a good time and some tasty food... fried turkey... *drools*

It sounds like I missed a good time :(

Matt,

In TDR issue # 28, John Holmes installed an Espar Heater in his '00. They used a 1 5/8" hole saw.

I had a blast despite spending a while underneath my truck taking the starter out and quasi-rebuilding it..... :D

(HUGE props to my Dad who did the 'band-aid' fix)

Scott and all those who helped out and attended... . as per usual, a good time was had by all who attended.

I'm looking forward to the next get-together.

Frank, next time... . don't tell me to shut off the truck!

hahahahahaha

Mopar-Muscle - what can I say..... 418rwhp is on my X-Mas list!!

Batman, a picture is worth a thousand words!

VeeTenJeff - show me the diesel!!

Now to find a good price on a used Turkey fry-daddy... ... :D

Matt - sorry I couldn't stay longer, but duty called.

P. S. Keep in touch folks!

HoleshotHolset

Dude I tough I was doing you a favor:rolleyes:

Imagine if you only found out your truck wouldn't start at the last minute? Then again I probably ruined your day, if I keept my mouth shut you wouldn't be able to leave and enjoyed the rest of the party.

Sorry,

Fred

VeeTenJeff

Some rumors going on that you'll be changing your handle from

VeeTenJeff to IL6CTDJeff:eek:

We had a good time and nice to see all. .

Fred.

Holeshot,

Did John (Mopar Muscle) let you drive his truck?

I'll flatten your eyeballs :D

If Mopar Muscle collected $10. 00 each ride he would have been rich by the end of the day:) Then again, me and my big mouth giving him some ideas. :)

HEYBOSS, I looked at an 02 today. I'm REALLY close to dumping my v-10. The mileage keeps getting worse, and the cats are giving me fits.

MWHEATON, any chance that you will be making more of those awesome looking bed rails? :) :)

Hemi,

Yeah... John let me drive his truck!!:D  :D

Let me say that his truck has the kind of power I'm working towards... ... *evil grin*

I can't imagine my truck with that kind of power... . I need it!!!

Throttle response was insane... . acceleration from 35 to 'arrest-me-fast' took 2 seconds and the truck wasn't even on it's highest setting on that 'little black/red box'.

The soot was cool too..... sure made that grey F*rd Taurus that was tailgating me at 35mph back way the heck off!! :D

The DTT valvebody and 93% TC sell themselves, after driving that truck both with and without my foot on the 'soot pedal'... . I realize how crappy my stock transmission is without some good parts in it.

Fred {HEYBOSS} (I finally got your name right!!),

Don't sweat it man... . I'm glad I 'temporarily fixed' my solenoid when I did... . I would be in trouble @ work if I didn't.

Jeff, don't just look at the diesel..... BUY IT!! :D :D

Looking forward to my next 'fix' of Cummins diesel good times, good folks and LOTS OF POWER!!

Matt - T-minus "XX" days until the next TDR get-together!!!
