Finally Back

Fellas, after a long hiates (~3 years) of not owning a CTD. I am proud to say that I am finally back in the ranks. This past weekend I purchased a "new to me" 04. 5 2500. After driving the 1. 5 hours home (from the individuals house that I bought it from) we put it right to work. The below is a picture of the first work out. I do need to do some diagnosing work, it seems to suffer from the "Long Crank" blues. Good thing it was priced right!

Welcome back to the TDR Brethren!!!! Looks like you got a nice truck and glad to hear you got a good deal. I think ..... again think... ... . the long crank cycle can be cleared up with a reflash to the ECM. I remember reading about this issue a while back. Any who welcome back... ... .

18-017-05 is the tsb # but the long crank issue it addreses is for cold temps
