Top 5 rock bands of alltime

I'm not that concerned, knock on wood. All I know is when I run my spy ware (adaware and spybot) that they don't find hardly anything compared to the days of IE. That must say something.

Well if it is designed by humans... it will have flaws. The difference is in how fast it gets fixed, most of the time MS just blew off who ever reported security flaws with IExplorer. That isn't the case with Firefox.

I rarely use IE anymore. When I run my spyware, almost al of the stuff it finds, was let in by IE. Mozilla works great for me.

Admin's worst nightmare

Thought it would be better than this for some reason.

Look at the amount of "issues" with IE vs. Foxfire or Mozilla. Apparently there are so many bad folks out there without a life that have nothing better to do.

I've been running Foxfire at work, which is where I use to surf the net because its a T1 and I don't have a phone line at home ($85/mn :( ). Nope,. . after hours or off the clock . :p I like the features and speed so much better than IE. I use to have Mozilla installed but after running Foxfire I didn't reinstall Mozilla on the new box.

Now I'm skating thin ice and waiting for the Foxfire fix. Then I'll do a admin priviledge excuse to install both Mozilla and a Foxfire fix. Unfortunately, running with javascript off is not an option.

the story is incomplete

Paul Harvey's "Rest of the Story"

Short version = IE has more errors and takes much longer to fix.

The second article down cites the same sources and group doing the research out of denmark I think.

This article just has the complete story and compares IE to Firefox over the same time and counts the flaws.

I'm an IE user.

Make sure your Anti-Virus is up to date, don't worry about it and install the fix when it comes out.

I have a phone line but got tired of crawling along(no DSL coverage in this area) and purchased Direcway. Latency is high but once it gets going it is pretty zippy. The other big drawback is logging into secure site such as Citrix or your bank is like pulling teeth... . you get there but sloooowly and latency at these sites is even worse. I wouldn't go back though.

JH, I looked into Direcway, and seriously pondered going that route. Seem kind of pricey. Even scoped out ebay for equipment. So for now its over to the office. However, if and when, I will seriously reconsider DirecWay.
