Well I'm finally ready to take the step to more power. Truck is a 2001. 5 CTD, 4X4, automatic. I'm looking for a bit more oomph when towing my camper and horse trailer (about 15000 GCVW). I'm leaning towards the Edge EZ since I haven't done any transmission mods, however I have seen a few posts that say to get the Edge Comp because it will give you the same thing as the EZ, but can have more power if I decide I need more down the road. What do you all think? Where is the best place to buy an Edge box? Any problems with purchasing a used one? What's the deal with the boost elbow? I have been running a full set of gauges (boost, pyro, transmission temp, fuel pressure) so I have a pretty good baseline. Any issues with the install? Thanks for the help!

Since you already have gages, you might think of Marco's MAD ECM. I do ont have one, but it is on my to do list. A thread search will turn up lots of reading for your research. ;) Remember though, if you beef up the engine, the transmission will need to be treated also. So the real choice is, do the transmission first or go for the power and force the transmission upgrade. How deep is your pocket and how reasonalbe is your foot on the go pedal ;)
