I have a 92 with auto and it is getting time to go on vacation.

I only have 10K on the rear differential and transmission fluids and are less than a year old. Do I change now or wait till I get some more miles on them. I usually change out on a yearly basis but I was on the road more hauling my camper.

Trans temperature rarely sees 160f even in the summer time even before I change out the factory installed under bed cooler. With the new cooler I installed awhile back trans temperature stays about 150 or so even in 110+ summer heat and hauling my camper.

I had the valves adjusted 19K miles ago and plan on doing them before the trip.

Coolant less than 20K miles but I will replace again with Fleetguard ES complete.

I would be interested in finding out the schedual some of you guys are on.

Thank in advance.

Hi Jim,

I try to service the transmission in my truck every 13 to 15K. As far as the rear axle, I go every 30K. I am running Dextron III in the transmission and 80w90 in the axles. I have adjusted my valves at 170K, but need to do so again. As far as coolant, I am also running Fleetgaurd ES and will change it once it tests bad. Hope this gives you an idea of what I do.
