i heard a rumor that this maddog guy is gonna be there with his ford with the cummins that bad rig that so many of us have seen run that quarter mile against that white (rx-7 maybe i couldn't tell) I heard this kat has like 1000 and 1750 or at least he's all over the forum here with a ton of information about performance at it's highest levels... ... ... ... . glad i found out before i wasted 75 bones for the entry fee... ... ... ... ... . i thought i had a decent chance to be in the top 5 maybe with a nitrous kit... ... ... and that's fine, nothing wrong with finishing 5th or even 8th place if there are a ton of trucks... ... ... however i don't think this guy will lose to anyone i've seen around here i mean he should be in a totally separate class i think... ... . well regardless of what i think he's not so he's gonna show up and clean up i guess on feb 13 or `12 whichever... ... ... . I'm just gonna go video his dyno run that in iself would be impressive... ... ... ... . they said he's a daily driver too... . i really don't see anyone around here that i can say would be able of running with this... ..... so unless his breaks down on the way up here it's gonna be pretty well dominating in every aspect. I think when playing with those big type of players they should try to get cetain classes because i look at that rig he's got as a dominat race vehicle it would be great to get a driver and load the rig to the extreme , any rig have some folks in the pits removing hardware and installing it on a selected vehicle and if enough people got together we could always give a run for the money

check out march issue of off road magazine. they did a story on his truck and your right 1000hp and 1700ftlb torque work done by piers. one beautiful looking burnout pic. just smoke flowin from stacks and tires. one of these days ill be worried about guys like that to, untill then ill watch those who are there. good luck to ya

yeah that's not right i mean with nitro i was hoping to be up over 700 and some change but i still am behind. I think we need to get a phat rig and have someone with a nitrous kit and a propane and a twin and so on make a small donation to the vehicle for a very short spurt just to do one run... . i'd be willing to offer anything that i could to help the cause i jsut don't think i have anything... ... ... a guy with twins and injectors and water meth and nitros and propane and stacked chips would be pretty darn impressive... i mean the guy isn't magical he's got the same motors as many of us do... ..... i think it would be hillarious if he showed up and someone was even able to give him a run for his money period... ..... the team approach strength in numbers to stop the bully from picking on us... ... ...

If I were going to travel to an event and not enter just to save the $75. 00 because I might not finish high enough, my Grandma would rise from her grave and kick my a**!!!

My truck is basically stock and I don't participate in this type of event, however in events that I do participate in (shooting sports, SASS) where I place is not important.

Spoken like a true Okie (I was born and raised in Edmond/OKC). I do agree with you, that if you want to compete you should, no matter what. There will always be someone else that will be better. But I do think that Moolie lives around here, so he wouldn't be making much of a trip to go. For us, we really wanted to just go and watch Richard run, as well as we were hoping to see Scott Hamilton run (twin turbo Cummins farm truck), Mike Lockner and a few others. Our trucks would get laughed off the dyno (especially the ATS dyno ), not much of dyno queens, like the track much better. Plus, you have to remember most of us around here are used to paying $30 for dyno runs and then doing events like this with the money going towards charity. I understand why ATS is doing it the way they are doing it, but I don't have to agree about it and participate, just spectate this time around.



I could see just running and comparing our truck to simiarily equipped trucks, but not too many of them are running due to the high cost. I can put that $75 in my truck fund and build upon it, then run it on a dyno that is better priced or going towards charity.



My X doesn't really come out all that great on the track either, but it only costs me $30 to run it all night long, so for me that is reasonable. If it cost $75, I would have to reconsider. That's a big jump.



Just my opinion and you all know what that is worth. Maybe if everyone thinks that Richard is out, more will sign up and we will get to see more trucks run.

i don't care where i place i'll be in the top ten for sure as long as i get this ts nitro kit put on before then i just wanna make sure that if there is a chance to be a true contender for the top spot that i enter. i could care less about dyno numbers or any of that crap i have pages and pages of dyno numbers it's not competing against anyone it's more like competing against myself i'm sure another set of sheets to add to the collection would be great but i what i really was hoping for was a true shot at the top spot and at least having a realistic chance to win the event

i know i don't have anywhere close tp 1000 hp though so u see i'll go there and get a video fo his dyno if she shows and meet the guy and look at his truck that's a given and that'll be sweet but i'm not just gonna go give the guy 75 bucks when i could just keep it for myself... ... ..... i can get any set of numbers from any dyno any day... ... . there is no need to throw away 75 bucks though when i have a set of numbers i got just last week... ..... i mean i like the guys truck it's bad and i'd love to see it in person... ..... but he's gonna have to keep pushing on and going farther then almost around here without my cash u see what i'm saying... ... ..... he's a true pioneer of sorts pushing and striving to get his vehicle where it is already is amazing... ... I don't know what else he can do to it but it's just incredible to watch and see some of those numbers he's put down... ... ... ... so instead of wasting 75 a guy should put that 75 towards a water/meth in addittion to his existing upgrades and then live to fight another day... ... ... ... ... ... ..... and i'm not sure whether it's broken down or not but i heard from a good source that it's gonna be just fine... if it is broken down he has 12 days to fix it i'm sure he'll be there so if you guys want just make your checks out to him... ... lol and yes i'm sure that it's better for the ats folk if a guy was lead to believe he would be there... ..... and why do you think that is... ... maybe there are several people who think the same as i do... ..... hence the lesser entries upon his attendance... ..... so when i was told about him showing up there the guy that told me was like shoot i'm just gonna save my 75 bucks... ... ... ... .

That's just what I am saying..... if everyone thinks that Richard even might not make it, they will sign up. Then if I know Richard, he will do everything in his power to show up, truck running good and take the highest cash prize. But, then they are still giving cash for 2nd prize - so maybe you could still take home some money.



It will be good, we'll get to see some high HP trucks run who thought Richard wasn't coming and then get to see him run too! Bonus if you ask me.

i'm all about doing my best at anything i do and trust me when i get a dyno run i stand there as best i can... ... It's not like a shooting event to where your skill is the determining factor... ... ... regardless of how much skill a guy has his truck is only capable of putting down what it has... ... . I'm just trying to give a few folks a heads up is all just like i was given... ..... it's a free world go do whatever u wanna do if that's showing and not dynoing then do that..... if it's dynoing do that. I know different strokes different folks and i'm not knocking or telling anyone what to do by any means... ... just thought that some people would like to know that bit of info. no i'm not sore more power to him for having a nice ride i don't think that it is in my best interests to help him pay for more upgrades on his ride when i could pay for upgrades on mine... ... ..... i would help him make the gap between our trucks bigger if i handed him my 75... ... i'm trying to shrink that gap. i think it's funny that the fastest 3 up here in northern co all said the same thing... ... don't waste your time... ... ... might as well not showup... ... ... i'm going no matter what i'm just not going to waste my cash is all and a few others were happpy and thankfull when i told them..... My advise to you, come and have fun, don't worrie about getting beat. On the forums you affect more people that you know. I have worked hard to let the boss let us do this and turn all of the profits back to the participants... . so don't wreck it for the others.
