So I dropped the oil pan on my 48re transmission attempting to diagnose why the transmission quit going forward or back and found a short hollow bolt laying on top of the valve body. The bolt is only about 1/2" long of threads maybe and is hollowed out. Has a wide flat head approximately 3/4" hex head. Any ideas where this cake from? Haven't dropped the valve body yet but planning to tomorrow. Oil smells burnt as well
