Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Is anyone running a Flowmaster Hushpower muffler on their truck? I e-mailed Flowmaster and asked if they had a 5" muffler available,they got back to me and wanted to know if I would be willing to test the new 5" muffler. They first wanted to know what I was looking for in a muffler and I explained I was tired of the drone I get from my 7 yr old BD muffler when towing at certain engine loads. They told me this muffler will not produce any drone and I think they told me it was a fairly quiet muffler until you put your foot into it. ( its been a month or so) Any who,the muffler showed up a couple days ago and I'll let you know about noise or drone issues (or lack of) when I get back over to my friends house who has the lift.
Its been a long time since any major business has offered me a part to try out,and all they want is an honest opinion on how their muffler works on my truck. I think its pretty cool for big business to still think about its customers enough to include them in testing parts for no cost to the consumer. I always use to run Flowmaster mufflers when I was into street car performance and loved the Flowmaster sound. Hope it works out for the diesel crowd also.
