Question for all you guys with freespin hub kits. since the front will not be turning unless in 4x4, do you think for front u joints you could use the OX or other offroad heavy duty joints?

I'm not sure... I've been running a Dynatraxx kit on my 05 for 80,000 miles. The factory "U" joints are still good with them not turning all the time they don't wear... . I did re pack them with grease when I did the free spin kit... . I don't see why you could not use the off Heavy duty road parts...

Not trying to hijack the thread but would you go through the work and the expense of the hubs again? Have you gotten better fuel mileage with the hubs??

i actually looked into this for my conversion, but didn't find any that fit the application... . not saying it's not out there. i went with the precision 464s.

if i'd have found some heavy duty ones i'd have done it.

from the posts and mags i have read, the hub kits can be stronger and are servicable. unlike the sealed bearing units mother mopar graced us with.
