Freeware to detect bandwidth usage?

I've got something going on on my pc. Some piece of software somewhere is hogging all of my bandwidth - which isn't alot considering I'm on dialup. My antivirus/antispyware is up to date. I was wondering if anyone knew of any freeware that I can download that will tell me what programs are using my bandwidth... .

Try this FAQ, the mods that reply to your posts are very good and helped me clean out my system years ago. Good luck I hope that you get your system cleaned up.

I just fixed 3 different computers that showed SVChost. exe running at 100% in the task manager. Turn off windows auto update and the problem went away. Seems windows auto update had blown up on a lot of computers with a series of updates microsoft sent out last month. if you see this same problem, I can point you to the fix.
