does anyone know the size of the freeze plug in the drivers side of the block that the engine mount covers 1/2 0f? also need the size of the little plug in the cylinder head on the exhaust side next to the valve covers. i am putting an engine together for my truck that came from an industrial application and do not need theese holes open.

seriously, nobody? I'm beginning to understand why people stop paying $35 a year, the last few questions i have asked here were either not answered or i have to ask the same question a couple of times to get a response. this place sure has changed.

wow, thanks for the help! i guess i will just measure the holes and figure it out myself. maybe i should stick to hunting or political questions. they have a better chance of being answered on a diesel forum.

I can try and help, I had an issue with the little plugs along the cylinder head on my 12v and ended up having to JB weld them to stop them from leaking but then again, I didn't build the head & I won't mention who but that is beside the point.

For the plugs in the head the best mod I can recommend is to tap the holes for 7/8" pipe plugs, not sure if 7/8" is the right size but its around that, maybe 3/4". I sold my old 12v puller so I don't have the spare plugs anymore and can't remember the size for the life o me.

Never had any issues with the plugs on the side of the block but I believe anyone @ Diesel Performance Parts Power Chips Diesel Exhaust Intake Performance Products can help you. Either that or call your local Cummins parts dealer. I don't have the part number handy or size, sorry I cannot be of much more help. :)
