Transport for 3 ferrets from Denver to Seattle needed!

Happy Birthday Shrimpy

Anybody have any experience with these? I'm looking at different conversions for motorhomes. Airstream/Westfalia, and Leisure van both make some nice units, but I was curious if they are under powered or not. They have the Mercedes 5 cylinder turbo diesel in them. Suppose to get good mileage, and have a towing capicity of 5,000#. I like the size, but they definitly are pricey. Any Comments?

I have no personal experience with them. BUT I have spoken with folks who use them as fleet vehicles for various things. And I have yet to hear anyone say a bad thing on them.

From what I have seen the mileage is good and they hold up pretty well if normal maintenace is performed. I have heard of 25mpg loaded but I don't have any first hand experience with them, just seeing them come into the dealership for service/repairs.

The RV's here are almost all based on vehicles like the Sprinter.

Ford, Fiat, Peugeot, Citroen, Iveco... . Mercedes.

Mercedes is the top dog!

And yes the 25Mpg is an realistic number.

We have a couple 02's at work. They have been pretty good as delivery vehicles. And they do get good mileage at least compared to the gmc savana and ford vans they replaced. The drivers much prefer them over the other vans as well.
