Well this is my second lift pump on the truck, one was replaced by DC and I did not like the way it looked so I bought one from my Cummins dealer and installed it my self. Well now the presser is acting up run the truck wide open and it gets sucked down to 5 psi come off the throttle and its back up to 14 psi back on the throttle and back down to 8 psi. What do you all think? I think my Isspro gage is also going bad because it has a rattle in it once in a while. I have a isolator hooked to the gage.

So once again I ask what do you all think?

Lift pump or gage, or booth.

It is the pump I am just going to get a FASS and be done with it.

Whoa, Mike I think you need a beer. Take it easy, 5 psi isn't great but it is on the low side of acceptable. Your gauge may be pulsating but it does sound like the pump is going a bit nuts, too. Try removing the electrical connections for the pump and make sure they are clean and re-connect them. It can't hurt. Then save your money for a FASS. you're gonna need it anyway when you install those showerheads.

My FASS system is sitting in the living room at the house... it goes on this weekend. Not on my 12v but her 24v truck... .

Mike,

Man I agree with J... . Take a deep breath, and relax a little. Once everyone gets back from Muncie... We'll have another wing day and I'll buy you a few rounds of quality bottled grain.

With that said, save your nickles and dimes and wait for the FASS. Those of us who are running them around here absolutely love them.

Justin

P. S. If things get real bad before you can get the FASS, I have a LP with about 5K on it sitting around doing nothing. It's not great, but it'll do in a pinch.

Cool Justin I appreciate the offer on the spar Lift Pump, I have one here also from DC with about 100 miles on it. I'm going to through it in the truck just in case.

Justin I will take you up on the offer on a round or two. Between being jobless and these DAM lift pumps its enough to drive me to a full time alcoholic.

I did talk to Andy this evening and said if I can to get down to him to get a mechanical fuel gage on there to see whats up. I think I am just going to go with the FASS and be done with it.
