A friend of mine has an 02 3500 4X4, with about 140k on the clock. The front tires are wearing on the insides, about 1 inch wide. I think he has a camber or caster problem. Can anyone recommend an alignment shop in the Florida panhandle, southern Mississippi or southern Alabama??

If its both tires then it sounds like excessive "toe out" just be sure and tell the shop you want the tire wear corrected and not say align it.

The reason is... what if the specs show within manufacture limits? The tech may say its good to go and you still get poor tire wear. Now if you tell them you want poor tire wear corrected and the specs are within limits they would most likely make changes while staying within the limits, they may also question if the truck is loaded differently than when they have it for the alignment.

I'd almost bet he has some worn front end parts @ 140k... . hopefully all the front end parts will be checked thoroughly first.

That's good info, but he needs a shop to tell it to. Anybody in the Pensacola area with a recommendation? This guy has zero mechanic abilities so he needs a place he can trust.

I am on the west coast but due to my affiliation with iATN

(International Automotive Technicians Network) I would head for this shop because they care enough to not only belong to iATN but to also sponsor where over 47,000 shop owners and technicians belong to better them selves in the automotive industry.
