I see in your signature, you have a couple Harley's, by chance are you going to run for the wall this year?*

Not this year. Done it 5 times though. I like the Smokies though.
I am 68 and waiting for the wife to retire too. Then, sell the house, move north, buy a smaller place and a toy hauler. Hence the 3500.
I hit 600 on the bike today. 400 more for breakin service. Traded old blue (91,500 miles) for it.

Well, filters are back up again.
From $70.00 (some with $7.00 shipping, some without shipping) to $86.00 free shipping overnight.
Anyone have a clue why filters would fluctuate in price so much?
Since I got my truck a year ago, I've seen them as high at $107 and as low as $68.
WTF???

The same reason that the boots I buy range from $110-$177. If you buy straight from the dealer, and not discount, the price would have very little fluctuation.

Same reason fuel goes up this time of year. It's what the market will bear. We're coming up on vacation time. Trucks getting spring service for hauling campers. It was low during the winter when a lot of vacationers park their trucks.
