Truckmen is already having issues, other tread about lack of power?

Yes. Could I have aggravated the problem with this after-market filter?

This after-market item was installed over the past weekend along with a new MoPar filter at the front.
I then loaded 4 cars and left out of Maine. No problems until I got onto I-95 in CT 300 miles down the road when this issue happened again.

To me, save money on filters vs potential warranty issues on a 60K truck - no thanks.

It is like the kid 23 years ago trying to get me to run Amsoil in my bus fleet. He stated "you have extended drain intervals and will save money". I asked him to show me literature to prove it. I gave it back to him with sections underlined stating for my application they did not recommend extended drain intervals, that factory durations must be used.

Aftermarket - No Thanks. As long as I'm under warranty, I'll be sticking with OEM approved filters. According to the sellers response to a question on Amazon, the micron rating is 12. Not good.

I saw their response for micron rating. One response said 7, an earlier response was 12....so what is it. Sounds like Chinese crap to me. I wonder if Harbor Freight sells these too?:-laf

I saw that as well......stick with Fleetguard or MOPAR.......we are not maintaining Briggs and Stratton engines here....a lot more at stake.

LOL! Yup. At the cost of these rigs, I can't see saving the money on filters that may or may not meet requirements.
Hell, I can't even find any information on Auto-Defender as a brand or a manufacturer.
That's a big red flag to me.

You are correct, filters are made in China! But Amazon prime review averaging 4.5 of 5! That's 90% satisfactory response
