You are correct, filters are made in China! But Amazon prime review averaging 4.5 of 5! That's 90% satisfactory response

Not just taking the lack of reviews into account OR point of origin, There are several other threads on these in other RAM forums and the general consensus is to stay away from them.
1 out of 6(?) owners has no issue, that is not going to make me take a chance on a $70K truck.

I'm a man of modest means and it took a lot to get me to make the jump to this truck so I'm going to spend the extra dime, or three, on recommended parts.
Using nothing but Mopar or Cummins filters, IMHO, is worth it.
YMMV
Appreciate you pointing out this deal but it's not for me.
I'm sure others will agree with you and greatly appreciate the link.

OH, FWIW - Try Googling Auto-Defender and find ANYTHING about the company.

No attack, no anger, no indication of short temper just pointing out facts.
Take a step back, breath and think who is attacking who.

Just pointing out that saving a few bucks doesn't always mean a good deal.

Nothing is going to change your opinion or attitude so just carry on and again, thanks for pointing out the deal.
Some will appreciate it and go for it.

Have a wonderful day.

Ummmm....I guess you don't know how to google. I tried and other than finding the manufacture mentioned on a few other diesel sites, where they were asking questions about this filter....no info at all.

So, the MANUFACTURE of the FILTER has 6000 feedbacks?

Repo4sale, your deleted truck getting up to 30 miles a gallon is so far from reality it's rediculous. Many deletes here in TDR (I won't out them) and the average MPG over a restricted truck is in the high 3 extra MPG, a lot of honest members here. Then your pushing China filters for a $70k truck. What's your gimmick, I mean traveling tonic salesmen selling cure all potions went out in the late 1800's?

Guys, do not be too quick to discount those Chinese filters. They do come with a free participation trophy. %^#+*€¥£•][£}#€ IQ 98.4/-//

In only a few weeks the whole site has deteriorated to the childish name calling I expect to find in the Politics forum.

Sure would be nice to return to civility.

Welcome to the TDR! Yes, I agree that the stuff gets frustrating. However, at times those who have been here a long time get tired of things that people say that are either totally bogus, or they have no way to back up what they say is true. And then, things tend to deteriorate. I give you my apologies. Hopefully you find this club beneficial and you can learn as well as participate in helping others learn.

Unfortunately it can happen, but it's more prevalent on site XXXXXXXXX. TDR is the best money I spent, when it comes to advise on many highly technical issues a Diesel can have. There's some awesome techs here that have helped me and other members over years, and was instrumental in my purchase of my 07 C&C. Hopefully your experiance here will improve going forward, again I apologize if I offended you or anyone else for my perceived negative post. However the claims being presented as facts had to be corrected, if you see how many posts I have posted over the 12 years I've been a member, I can definitely assure you it's a rare occurrence here. It's not to say we don't get into heated arguments here, but there basically based in fact.*

Oh, and please fill out your signature with what truck you have. And any modifications you have done. That will help people give appropriate responses for questions you might have.

You guys sound like liberal snowflakes vs. Tough smart men!

I might be a liberal snowflake because i like to keep my clean diesel intact (as well as follow the law) and i also don't like to skimp on the fuel filter since fuel system fixes after the fuel rail are a costly proposition. No name calling here. But you're not doing anyone any favors by promoting these offbrand filters. There is a reason Geno's doesn't stock them. The reason is that using them forces the owner to incur unnecessary risks. Others using offbrand filters are reporting fuel problems as we speak.
