I notice in the owners manual that the recommended fuel filter change is at 48,000 km (30,000 miles) or 36 months, whichever comes first. I'm comparing this to my CTD which I believe is yearly at the most. I think for the $28 that Geno's charges for the Mopar fuel filter I'll be changing mine at a minimum of once per year. Thoughts on that?

It's your truck and money, so do as you see fit. The quality of the fuel you burn would make a difference in my opinion. I could see changing it at 20,000 miles, but probably not less than that.

Thanks Top. I use good quality fuel from a bulk station. I'm probably doing to many comparisons to my 2011 and 2013 6.7 CTD maintenance schedules. From the fuel mileage perspective the EcoDiesel uses substantially less fuel for the same miles as compared to my CTD, so I guess it stands to reason you would get more miles out of a filter. I guess if that's what the manufacturer calls for then it's all good...so long as it's on warranty.
