92 is leaking from the injector line, on the top of the injector pump. . we have put the wrentch on it like 3 times, it keeps backing off and small leak... i dont want to crank on it and break something there on the pump, afraid to use lock tite, may have to fix pump one of these days..... what can we use/do , to keep the injector line from backing off the pump? it only backs off a little, like 1/4 turn, yet, enough to cause a fairly serious leak... . any ideas? thanks in advance... ... monte:confused:

If you are talking about the fuel pressure regulator line on the top front of the pump, tightening it will do no good. You must remove it and replace all the orings on it. It seals from the orings not the tightness of it.

no, its the top ,steel, injector line going into the injector pump... can we use anything to keep that line from backing off??? thanks, m. w. w.

Lots of the marine guys use epoxy to seal all their connections. They never come loose.

Not sure if you'd want to use it on the pump though... but it's something to consider.
