Luckily my truck has 1/2" line all the way to the secondary fuel filter already, however I plan to install lerge line all the way to the pump next! Sounds like a good mod!!

CATERPILLAR... yeah, they do move pretty slow!!

How 'bout this, stainless steel custom bent??? A fellow suggested this to me and I thought we could bandy this concept about here. You would need a thick wall to prevent vibration cracks. The thing of it is this could be done for much less money. The aeroquip stuff is pricey. What do you think?

Mike, I'll take some pictures for ya. Gotta finish off the roll of slide film today then will use print film. Wish I had a digi-cam #ad

HVAC, speaking of rigid lines, here's a BOMB project for the big-leaguers (like you #ad
). Get the Banks Twin Ram intake, then re-do the injector lines to clear it. . . that would be one bad 24V . Image the looks you'd get with that, an HX40 and tubular exhaust manifold, all polished up and Jet-Hot coated #ad

Vanghn,
Much appreciated!! Just a suggestion, I don't know what else you have on this roll of film but you can have the pic's digitized and put on a floppy for you.
Mike

Vaughn, the twin ram does look good alright... . #ad
I am interested in the performance of the three piece manifold from ATS. We had considered a stainless welded tubular exhaust system made here in the pit (bay). Not sure how that would take the tremendous heat but it would look good for sure(might turn blue). For now I have the turbo blanket (as you know) which keeps the heat off the K & N and covers the ugly exhaust manifold.

HVAC. . i purchased the ATS and gasket matched the ports, now am waiting for it to come back from Jet-Hot with there 2000 series treatment. As for a Stainless tubular exhaust. . i consitered making my own... Stainless is what the "big boyz" use when making a turbo charged set up... Check out Sundancerracing.com and Kooks.com... and dig deep. I purchased a used set of custom Kooks headers for a Yates headed Ford Sb(NASCAR heads) Jet-hot coated for a grand.

QuadDoor,

When you get that bad boy on, post with all the details, including photos!

HVAC, a couple problems with a conventional tubular header--if you make the runners all equal length, it would be a tough fit. And it would have to hold the weight of the turbo (heavy!), so the vibration & weight will probably break it in no time.
