I am to a point after many years with a BD low pressure indicator that I am in need of a true gauge on my 02. My question is this.

I want a gauge that is electric and doesn't use isolators and needs bleeding ect. I want the best quality with least hassles. I read continuous threads on a lot of forums of the gauges with isolators causing more issues than the rest of the rig.

Which gauge mfg is the cats meow? I don't care about the bling the face has just after reliable accuracy without hassles.

On my 05 I am after an electronic gauge cluster like edge, BD, quad ect, looking for input on the best choice in that area also. I want to keep the 05 simple and uncluttered versus running several gauges.

I'm using a Red Digital LED 145 PSI Fuel Pressure Gauge on the KW. Works well.

And, you can get the Edge Attitude monitor, and use it as a stand alone unit. Don't need the fueling box, unless you want it. This will give you FAR more than just 1 gauge. IIRC, it monitors over 10 items and no need fr 10+ gauges/pods and the wiring that goes with them.

I would like to stick with a 0-30 psi for the accuracy of range of the 24 v vp44 needs.

I've got the JWA setup. I've been very pleased with the gauges. The tuner part is OK... sometimes I wish I had a Banks.

I'm using the ATM-4361, Ultra-Lite Electric Fuel Pressure Gauge 0-15psi which I bought from Summit Racing for $186. 95. I've isolated the sending unit from the engine noise by mounting it to the brake master cylinder and the only isolation is the rubber grease hose connecting it to the fuel filter. It has been running flawlessly since 5/8/01 and has already caught 4 ailing pumps (with the early signs of #5 starting to show).

I am going to go with a 30 psi westach pressure gauge in my 02. But I am up in the air yet as far as to which digital cluster I will go with in my 05.

I have this guage on my '98. After it was installed for a year or so, I started getting erratic reading sometimes. Problem was corrosion on terminals of sending unit. I had to clean these connections every year. Solved the problem by soldering both connections. Don't use more heat than necessary! Haven't had any problems since.

The Westach has the advantage of great customer service and though I have never used them, a local company that would be nice to support. In the aircraft crowd however, they have a bad reputation.

i have the westach from geno's 0-30 psi for about 4 years. no problem. put a jic fitting before sender so you can bleed air out from fuel. later

4 years with a 0-30 psi westach gauge, only 1 problem on the sensor, the wire connection came lose, tighten wire no problem seens then. (love it)

I have a mech gauge that started out working ok, but then started getting very erratic, so I shut it off. Would a rubber hose stop the noise and erratic readings. I have it plumbed directly to the vp44 test port with a shut off valve.
