Carroll County Coal Rollers

It has to do with "Because they can" more than anything else. Gas is up about fourty cents around here in last thirty days. bg

If the oil industry increases prices at the pump "because they can" please explain to me why the oil industry never earns more than an average of 8% on investment? Why don't they make 10% every year? How about 20%?

Chevron Richmond fire will make it go even higher :-laf add on the summer/winter change over MY BIO D IS THE SAME PRICE :-laf:-laf

Bringing this back to the top. Diesel prices have soared in the west, thanks to that refinery fire in the Bay area lately. Most places are $4. 29 in the Tri Cities WA now, quite a few $4. 39. We're within 10-20c of what it was back in May when I started this thread. Prices bottomed out in the $3. 60s-70s about 4-6 weeks ago so they have risen a good 70 cents lately!
