I'm thinking about putting one of the those "finger touch oil drain plugs" made by Fumoto that Geno's sells on my truck. But I'm a little concerned about it getting knocked off because it hangs down another couple of inches and I like camping at spots where the roads are not like highways. Anyone out there had any problems with the low hanging Fumoto hitting things?:D - Doug

I have a fenco quick drain on my 2wd . Its nearly flush with the pan . there is a screw on cap to cover it when not in use. with cap on protrudes less than half inch. been there for 5 years without any problems. Fenco here in Canada sold by large truck dealers. Hope this helps.

I have been running Fumotos since 2001 over all kinds of terrain and never had a issue. . Also have one on the wifes Liberty with no issus in over 50k

I have the Fumoto almost since brand new. I have over 108000 miles now. Not a single issue, but I have the one without the nipple. It hangs down about an inch below the oil pan. It works great for me.

Mine is the same but with 150,000 plus miles and no problems so far. When I installed mine at that time(truck almost new) there was concerns about it not letting all the oil drain out. At that time it was recommended to cross drill so all oil would drain. I was not so sure then this was a problem(did it anyway just in case) and perhaps it has been corrected in the current version. I sure like mine!!!!!
