Mine rolled over 226K this week... ... ... ... ... ... be 230K end of next week... ... ... ... .
Am I the only one that thinks that this extra troque is the cause of this transmissions early failure??
Is that rumor or fact from a legitimate source?
Your dealer may have insider information from dealer meetings with a regional Chrysler rep or written information from Chrysler and may actually have factual information.
I guess we'll see in a year or two. I would assume Chrysler is experiencing some rather expensive warranty claims history on the DMF assembly and growing tired of the cost and customer complaints. The percentage of manual transmissions sold is probably relatively small now and shrinking since the introduction of the six speed automatics.
