Perkins had a V8 in Massey Ferguson 1155 tractors back in the 80's. It was a beast, but the John Deere turbo 6's would do the same work for a lot less fuel and not tear things up in the drivetrain. It was really cool looking and HUGE, but not any better than the old "Tractor" engines the green machines were running.
