Gas Dryer to Electric?

I have a one year old Kenmore Gas Dryer... ... . I heard a rumor from someone that they thought that you caould buy a kit to convert gas dyers to elcetric? Is it possible? We are moving and have no gas hook up... ... .

It might be possible, but I don't know if there's a kit available to do it. It might actually be cheaper to buy a new dryer. this site has a ton of great info where you can look at diagrams and what not.

There may be kits available to convert your gas dryer to propane... is that an option?

you can definitely converta natural gas dryer to propane or viceaversa but in my short lifetime on this planet I have never heard of converting an electric to gas or viceversajust my couple of pennies worth
