Anyone know of a place that can repair our gauge clusters? Started out with an incorrect temperature gauge, and replacing the sending unit did not help. It works, just reads too hot. Then the fuel gauge started getting wonky ( I know possible sending unit in tank) and now my speedo reads about 35 mph slow but the miles read correctly and the cruise still works. I replaced the speed sensor which did nothing for my speed indicated, but actually did make the cruise smoother then it has been in years. So I feel like the gauges are just wearing out, which in turn makes me suspect the fuel gauge may be the actual gauge and possibly not the sending unit. Yeah, right. But I’m hoping.

FYI there is a place in Atlanta, Atlanta speedometer that sells and repairs these clusters. Trying them out and will hopefully post a good solution.

Well they did repair the speedo (power supply was bad) but they did not repair the temp gauge, as they said it was ok. Then tell me they did not have exact specs or ohms for that model. So basically the gauge moved so they called it good. It reads too hot and senders and wiring has been checked. Also I thought they would restripe the needles while they had it open with fresh fluorescent orange, but they didn’t. So, they will work on the clusters and I now can know my speed again, just disappointing on my temp and the needles. My two cents.

You could get a FSM and see what the correct ohm range should be for the gauge. Or just try buying a used one on ebay, or try getting one from www.keeprtuned.com If he doesn't have the gauge you need on his website, just send him an email. The address is in the contact page on his site. He always has a bunch of these trucks to part out.
