I have had gauges on the pillar, and in a dash mount in my other Dodge's. I am going to put gauges in this 2001, but was thinking of hiding them in the ashtray. Anyone tried this? If two will fit I will use separate boost and pyro, if not I could get a single combo gauge. Just a thought. Also, has anyone found a good setup for the fuel pressure gauges. I know folks were having trouble with the autometer electric, and I dont want a diesel line in the cab. Any thoughts?

I had my boost gauge mounted in my ashtray for about a yr before i got around to buying the a-pillar and pyro and trans temp gauge. mine is a 98 but i had no probs, hard to see though.

I have my Westach fuel pressure gauge mounted in the ashtray...

Works fine for me. My boost and EGT are on the pillar. The fuel pressure gauge is something that you don't need to see all the time, so I think the ashtray is a perfect place. I wedged it in there using a donut.

I stuck my Feul Pressure in the ash tray. Used velcro to make it stick. My combo in the small space next to the radio. All works great, can only view one at a time. Ken

I put my brake controller in the ashtray. It's a good location for it - easy to see and reach for adjustments. I might try to rig up a fuel pressure gauge under that when I get one.
