Can someone suggest a source for gauges other than the A pillar type? I need to keep the assist handle that is on this pillar. I don't think collumn types will work for me. Maybe a nice 3 gauge display to be mounted on top, middle of dash?

Try grabbing the steering wheel when you get in the truck. That's how all of us probably do it. It just seems easier to view them on the pillar.

There is also a 2 gauge pod that mounts over the steering wheel. Don't have a link but I am sure you could google search it easy.

Now that I have a truck I would put it in my signature - I just can't figure out how.

My truck:

'08 Dodge 3500 SLT,

6sp auto trans

Quad Cab

8' bed

DRW

4x4 (why don't we say 6x6?)

4. 10 rear w/anti spin

That overhead tripple guage mount looks like just what I need - if it fits on a Dodge.

Up at the top under Discussion Forums, theres a drop down. Click on User Control Panel. That's wher eyou will be able to enter you sig. as well as other info. As for your 2008, we aren't selling them for the 2008. As far as I know, they don't fit. we've got a 2008 coming in tomarow, I'll take one out of the box and see it it fits. You can give us a call in the late afternoon to find out if it will work.

I initially bought the A Pillar mount but I found that it seemed to be too close and felt like it crowded me. it also made the blind spot behind the A pillar a bit worse. So I got the triple gauge pod for the dash. Here are a few pics of the installation. I really like it. it is a little further from my face but easily readable. and it does not block any of my view of the road.

(BTW... My friend had to replace the bearings in his steering wheel because he used to hang onto the wheel to haul himself in and out of the cab... )
