does anyone know if the Max Tow double vision gauges are any good?

When i was researching gauges it seem that max tow was a lower end gauge made by another company and just rebranded
I mite be wrong but that was my impression

thats what I found, they may be a lower end gauge, not much information. Auto meter is touted as the best, and with that, a higher price tag. almost twice as much on the price. When it comes to accuracy you dont want to trust your vital equipment to a cheapy weapy gauge.

I would go with ISSPRO any day over Autometer.

I have used the SPA Technique Dual digital gauges for 17 years in both Dodge pickups I have owned. The digital read outs are adjustable as to how fast they change. They have adjustable back light brightness independent of the other dash lights. The Boost/EGT gauge that I use in my '07, 5.9 stores the highest number on either the boost or EGT. Both have adjustable High boost or High EGT alarms. I set my High alarm for EGT at 1150*F and if it its that point,(Hardly ever now since the modified Holset) a red LED flashes to alert me. They are expensive but the quality is real high. I am still using the same EGT probe and wiring, pressure probe and wiring that I installed on my 2001 Dodge.

I use Isspro been very happy. The Spa gauges have always intrigued me.

I noticed ISSPRO uses almost all electric sending units, that's fine, but some people trust gauges that use vacuum lines and fuel liner instead of all electrical. ISSPRO gauges look nice.

I've never had the desire to run engine oil or fuel into the cab of the truck and I read about far too many isolator issues to bother dealing with them.

I have never had any issues with either reliability or accuracy with running electric gauges and sending units.

I'll vote for Isspro, also. My '98 has Auto Meter's that were in it when I bought it and I have had issues. Never had issues with the Isspro's in my '95.

i had some glow**** max tow on my 02. the boost and EGT were nice, but the fuel pressure kept eating sending units. they were to bright as well. even on the dimmest setting.
Id do like AH64ID stated as well as several other and get ISSPRO. you won't be disappointed.
or get an edge insight or something like it.
