Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Gearing the same?

Would anyone know if the gears in 2wd and 4wd nv4500s are the same? I have a 4x4 that i lost 3rd in and found a good 2wd 4500 that the guy will sell me for scrap price. . I was hoping 2 take the two and make one good one. . Thanks 2 anybody that can help.

Yes, the gearing is the same. The only difference in the two is the rear main shaft and the tail case.
