Genos Cup Holder

Anyone using one of those Geno's Cup holders, any likes or dislikes, thinking about a possible purchase?

If you're talking about the Cup Smoothie that attaches to the front of the center console they're great.

Only problem I've had with mine is that it gets full of change, pens, receipts, etc. that have to be removed when I want to flip the console up for a third passenger.

My problem is they don't make one for the 03's yet. I had one on my 97, and next to the exhaust brake, it was the best add on I ever had !

I've had mine so long that I think there are things living in it. I worry about getting bit rooting around in it for something. The cup is right where it should be when I clean out a hole to put one in. Great gadget.



It's also a good place to hang a trash bag.

I think I had it ordered just a few weeks after I got the truck... only thing is it doesn't hold everything I'd like it to hold... maybe someday I'll modify the center console and make it more useful for me...

Dude you can modify the current gen smootie to fit. ( I remember it in TDR issue 40??)

Excellent accessory!

I added a change holder to the fron of mine (the stock one is too small and in the wrong place). I also added a pen/pencil holder. It's a spare screwdriver tip holder for a power drill. It's foam and has an adhesive backing, I just stuffed pens in it instead!

Yes they are worth it.

I'll agree with everyone it is a great addition, much easier to grab your drink and does'nt bounce your drinks all over the place like the stock cup holder. Buy one.

The smoothie in my '01 caused a 1. 5 mpg increase in fuel ecomomy. It's also where I mounted three rocker switches for fingertip contol of three accessories. If you don't have a smoothie you're missing out on one of the best features of these trucks.

The Geno's catalog that came with the last TDR magazine has them for the '03, catalog 41 page 23.

Has anyone modified a smoothie for an 03 6 speed? If so what year truck did you order for?
