Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Getting the right Transmission

There is an auto parts salvage operation having a sale and was wondering how you can tell if you are getting the right NV 4500 or nv 5600 for a 99 . Any numbers or measuements someone can give me?

The 5600 out of a 99 would have the small and undesirable 1 1/4" input shaft. If you get a 5600 try to get the better 1 3/8" and the 13" flywheel to go with it. Not sure about the 4500, but any decent yard should have the knowhow to look in an interchange book and make sure you get the correct parts. Jake
