Golf cart batteries

I just got a pair of six volt, U. S. Battery Mfg. 2200, golf cart batteries so I can have a longer discharge times. The only problem is finding boxes tall enough for them, they are 11 1/4" tall and I plan on putting them on the tongue of my TT.



Any ideas of where to find TALL battery boxes would be greatly appreciated.

I had to take 4 standard size battery boxes, cut and spliced to make a pair of taller ones for my GC batteries - works fine...

Hensley Battery in Denver not only has a box - I'm pretty sure they have them for either way you want to turn them, long or short sides together. Craig

Some standard battery boxes will work fine. The lid has small ledges about half way down (one on each corner and 2 on each side) and these sit on the battery itself when you use the 6v. When strapped down, they hold the battery down tight in place.

I got e'm and they work just fine.
