Got a fix today

I feel better now, had a good day. Ordered fuel pressure guage set up(Thanks again Andy at ADT www.smokindiesel.com) Ray's banjo bolts, tow mirrors plus filters and ods and ends (www.genosgarage.com) and a Rhino 3" performance exhaust(Thanks Stephan Kondolay for the heads up)



The withdrawal(sp?) symptoms should come back in a week or 2... . I think Bill K is offering performance packages now? Maybe if I tell the wife that by spending three grands I actually save a grand... ... ... ... ..... think it will fly



With my luck the lift pump will die when I put it the fuel pressure guage

Stephan Kondolay told me I might want to try those. That's what he runs on his truck. He says he got about the same drop in EGT's (about 150*)as a 4" at 25% of the cost. So I figured I'd give it a shot.



Here is were I bought mine for 49. 95$ + S/H or you can call Curt @ 219. 463. 9948. Real nice guy to deal with. Your local Midas also carries them but don't know how much they want for them(retail is 70$).

Here is the company propaganda, model # 911 is the one for our application, just fill the gap with a piece of 3" pipe if you cut the resonnator out(that's what I'm doing)

I was going to install it myself but my local muffler shop said they'd do it for 50$ including the piece of 3" so why get dirty. 100$ for a "high performance " exhaust I'll try that! From the research I've done I'm told that up 'til about 400 HP I should not see a difference between this set up and a 4", time will tell. I'll post the results after I put it in (There's a rumor around the house that I'm getting an Edge Comp for chrismass ) As I said Stephan K. pointed this one out to me so you might want to ask him.

What does it sound like? What type of flow will this handle? How long did it take you to get the muffler to you house. Just asking I got a 12v with a stuffed up sinus Ha Ha!! thanks Buddy

Not here yet

It's in a UPS truck somewhere between IN and TX. Left their shop on Wednesday, so should be here early next week. I'll post my first impressions when I get it on the truck. Hopefully the same day it'll get here
