Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) got some issues need help solving

well today my speedo stopped reading below 40. the abs and ebrake light came on at the same time as this happened.



the other problem is im getting a dead pedal like problem it will accelerate but no smoke and no power plus it wont downshift.



the other thing im having an issue with is the motor will sometimes chugg like a pull truck at or near idle when coming to a stop after any run. if i turn the ac off it stops and never chugs only chugs when i have the ac on. with that sometimes part it doesnt always die but other times it will.



any ideas on what to replace to fix this stuff would be great thanks in advanced matt

Do a search on the rear wheel speed sensor. I think that runs the speedo and can illuminate the brake lamp.
