Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I've installed a grill guard after having some sweet loving person back into and under the bumper with a trailer hitch, thereby almost crushing the a/c lines and other things up front. fortunately only cosmetic damage ($800). so for less than the deductible I've added some iron.
but the question is:
the grill guard mounting would allow for the guard to touch the bumper for extra stability or have clearance which might add to the theme of the guard giving some before impact.
which way do you have yours mounted? I do notice some movement at the top of the guard without it touching the bumper.
