It is interesting that some want to deny the right of free speech to those whose opinion you don't like.
In America, where everyone has a right of free speech, you have the right to not read or not listen to the opinions you don't like but not to deprive the speaker of his right of free speech.
It is clear that both of you have had accidents that you would prefer to blame on ABS brake systems. I'm sorry about that but it doesn't change the facts. [/QUOTE]
Harvey, do you think , where ever you are, that you can know even a little bit about my accident and what caused it?
Can you tell me when the next one will ocure?
You have driven a lot of miles too, and you know when the brake system is working correctly or not.
Here was my info.
Driving 30 mph, about 3-4 lengths behind a suv. I can see ahead, as I drive that way as much as possibe, and cars are turning into a MacDonalds ahead of me. I lift the throttle. I notice along line and realize that we need to stop.
I notice the suv infront of me on the cell phone so I apply the brakes. Two cars up, there are 5 in front of me, one makes a panic stop, again because of the @#%$@# cell phones!
I'm now pushing hard to get it shut down. All from a big 30 mph!!!
Brake peddle starts to chatter and it just rolls into the suv in front of me and bump.
I could of had my 2500 and trailer with my tractor on it and stopped very short of all this. I know it will stop, from 30 mph, in 60 feet.
So, why are you saying it wasn't as I described? (with ABS) Were you there and witnessed it? An off duty cop was on the sidewalk walking toward me and was a witness. He even said it happened the same way. As a ABS accident, and that there was nothing done wrong by me!!!! I did swerve, but he was on the sidewalk and I had to hit the suv or him and his daughter.
You look very silly with your possition on this, so back off and let it go.
