Hauling Bed Conversion Complete

Very nice craftsmanship. It is obvious that you take pride in your work. If you could get that modification down to a controlled process you could quit your day job! It looks more factory than a stock truck. How many hours are in a job like that?

There is probably something like 300 man hours in this but I by no means kept track.



I will post pictures when I finish the next phase. Built in kidney boxes over the wheel wells.

Theirs a artical in Diesel Power in the March issue which has a conversion thats looks stock and they have done around thirty of them, here's their link. They claim around $6500. oo complete.

I will be posting more pics as this project moves alone. There is going to be a covered 100gal tank in the front part of the bed and then in the cutdown section there is going to be a set of custom tool boxes built into the bed above each wheel wells.

I read the thread again and I must of been on drugs Sorry! I must of thought it was about a short bed Mega Cab with the mega fenders installed.
