Hdmi ??????????

Is anyone running an HDMI from their Cable/Sat Directly to their Sterio and then OUT with an HDMI to their TV?????? That's right ONLY 2 Cables... ... anybody doing this?????????

I will be in about a week when my HD DVR gets hooked up. TV's supposed to be delivered today and I picked up a home theater in a box system that has HDMI in and out. I'll let you know how it goes.

I used an optical cable for sound because my reciever is somewhat obsolete and cant handle HDMI. It might be cheaper for you than an additional HDMI if all you need is audio. My FIOS installer was including all the HDMI cables needed to complete the install, so I say go for it if they are free!

I would but my TV is a few years old and doesn't have HDMI input. :{

My Yamaha RX-V2700 does all the necessary switching and things look good with Component connections.
