 Put Silverstars in today. I found right to left adjustment but no up and down. Does anyone know if there is an up and down adjustment.

Did you read the thread on Silverstars. No addition in light just a different GLARE. Test was on them and others with color. Only more glare to the human eye but no more candlepower then factory

I bought silverstars for my truck a few weeks ago and i would say they are better than the stocks. Pretty pricey though up her in canada;saw the threads on them ,might try the x-travision next time. Speaking of which I just installed landing lights on my truck so when no one is in front of me , I flick them on and headlights don't matter anymore.

For the up-down adjustment, pop the hood and there will be the same type torx hole just to the inside of the light. Counter clockwise raises the light. Clockwise lowers it.

 EB are you sure about that adjustment? I have had these lights in and out alot and see no up or down adjustment. Maybe 2004's are different.

I have not adjusted my headlights, but took a look because you made me curious.

There is an adjustment screw just below the headlight assembly and above the bumper. It is pretty much centered on the assembly.

You have to raise the hood and about the center of the light under the rubber weather strip there is an adjustment hole just like the one under the light. If you are looking at the light on the drivers side it will be on the left of the light about centered. Will post a picture of it later if needed. It's there on the 03, don't know about the 04.

I will check with the dealer to solve up and down adjustment and get back. Without doubt these are the worst lights I have seen. I have owned this truck for 3 months and have had no one bright me for having my high beams on!

I should be getting some Sylvania Xtravision bulbs in a few days. These are supposed to be 20% brighter.

The wiring setup to use larger gauge wire and relays looks like a good idea. The headlight wiring for our trucks is 18 ga.

That didn't turn out very clear, there is a T-handle sticking out of the adjustment hole on that picture. Here is another one maybe it will be clearer on it.

To buttugly

There is no adjustment up or down on 2004

I looked at a friends 2004 today and it is exactly like the 2003. There is an adjustment up and down, see the images I posted above. Then you can go back to your dealer and ask him what that is or tell him he is full of c---.

I've adjusted mine a half dozen times or more to get it right with the airbags and front end lift. Your adjustment is there, you just need to find it.

EB... I have the adjustment you show in your pics. I thought this was for right and left adjustment? On the 2003 there is another adjuster UNDER the headlight. The 2004 does not have the one under the headlight.

Buttugly... I cked my buddy's truck and you are right that there is no adjustment under the light, but I'll bet the one on the side adjusts the up-down on your light. If you go in a garage or get up to a wall, (I get about 10 or 12 feet from a wall to adjust mine) and get a torx or an allen wrench and turn it I'll bet it goes up or down. To me, the one under the light adjusts the focus more than side to side. Try it and see if it works, you can always put it back like it was.
