heat and vent settings blows thru the defroster vents on a 92

Is there a vacuum modulator on a 92 that would cause the heat or vent settings to blow out the defroster vents and if so where is it and how much crap do I have to dissemble to change it out?

It's not hard to do and is a modulator also the heat box might full of junk as well

You might have a vacuum leak. Is your brake booster working okay?

If you open your glove box and you push on the top it will go past the latch you should be able to see it

My '94 will intermittently do the same thing. It only does it when I'm going slow, like parking, or hooking up to the trailer. When it does it the brakes barely work. I had a new vacuum pump put in, and checked all under the hood for a vacuum leak and couldn't find anything. But it still does it, but doesn't do it all the time. What could it be?

It is hard to find a vacuum leak because when the engine is running you can't hear it and when the engine is off there is not enough storage to still have some if the pump is not running. I would guess your booster is leaking.

If the heater motor blows on high then low it could be the reostat mounted on the heater box ,that's the coil ,heat sink looking thing
