I need help QUICK if possible. Just ordered the (heatertreater) Auto replacement part, blend door fix, Heat, AC replacement parts spacer for the blend door but I won't get the kit until sometime next week. I NEED to fix the broken spacer TODAY because I'm leaving on a road trip. DODGE has the factory plastic spacer I'm going to use till I can replace it with the Heater Treater peice, BUT I know there is a 'calibration sequence' heater treater sends for the actuator motor, does ANYONE know what it is and can share with me PLEASE? ;)

Be absolutely positive that the temp control knob is in the centered position before plugging in the new blend motor. If it is not centered it will throw the calibration out of whack and there is no fixing it other than to get another motor.

I stand corrected

I read the site you posted and it gives a procedure when you order the part to fix the motor. Below is the text from the site.

The HeaterTreater provides an unbreakable replacement interposer and fully illustrated instructions on how to open the motor case and re-index the motor gears to restore proper operation. Generally the Dealer will recommend a new motor(including another cheap plastic interposer that will break) at a substantial cost.

I've found that information, my question is "How do I re-index the motor?" I can't order/receive the part in time to get these instructions. I'm hoping someone here has done this repair and has the information available.
