The thing that I really need help with is getting the injectors out AFTER all the "other stuff" has been disconnected. All the screws, lockdown nuts, etc. come off fine; but the injectors themselves are STUCK in the holes!! I've tried tapping them on the side with a brass drift and a 2# hammer. Then I gave them a pretty good hit. Still stuck, probably because of the age/milage. Any ideas? I'm thinking of making something that will thread onto the top of the injector and have a weighted slide (like a dent puller), but I don't know if that will work well or not. Also, that's not going to be of any use on #6 because it's back under the "low roof" part of the engine compartment. I know that someone out there has mastered this problem. Thanks in advance to any & all replies. I keep checking this posting.

That is how you do it. Here's a link to a homemade injector puller. Much easier. http://www.dodgeram.org/tech/dsl/injector_puller.htm
Hope that helps. You should take a look around that site. I learned a lot there.

Thanks, all!!! I really appreciate the help & tips. Thanks to Keith, who tracked me down in the phone book, has the injector puller, and lives about 15 minutes away. TDR members to the rescue!!
