Situation: Two weeks ago, I trudged through some axle deep mud and cow poo in my baby, and got it dirty, spent 2 hours spraying off the underside that night, before the mud got hard. Now, my horn sounds like a wet fart in a kleenex box (as if it wasn't crappy enough to begin with). I realize the majority of suggestions here are going to be "hey, now you've got an excuse to get a real horn" but until that option is there, is there a quick fix? I've looked at the horn(s)?- why are there two? - and they are clean, and wires are fine, it's just getting embarassing to get out and set the factory alarm and everyone looks around for a moped.

Help me out here.

Bet you got water up in the diaphgram of the horns, maybe mud too. Take 'em off, turn 'em over and shake 'em out! If that doesn't work, run down to Ringgold and get replacements under warranty. I'd tell you to come up to Harrison Sunday and we'd fix them, but I've got toleave for Mobile Sun AM.

One of those things that never seem to break for the other guy always does. Been there, done that:mad:

One horn is high tone, the other is low tone. I too have a spare set of stock horns. Hint:D
