Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Help// wont shift out of 1st unless I let off pedal completely

Is it a throttle position problem? Can I clean it or should I take it to the stealer? It is an auto

Mines doing the same thing after adjusting the the kickdown rod. Have to let up on the pedal to go into 2nd gear.

Mine did it out of the clear blue. Cook Motors in aberdeen MD has a "plate" on order. Shanon at DTT explained to me what it could be. I think the plate that cook speaks of is a valve body. ?? On RamDiesel forum Dodgzila says it could be kick down so revisit your adjustments.

What about the Governor solenoid maybe its bad.

Dealer has had it since tuesday a. m. and it is friday. "Sorry the parts came in late","yep they are working on it now","the parts never arrived" blah blah blah. Can;t wait to see if they relsolved anything.



Chrysler Daimler reports sales up 18% with GM and ford down a bunch. How long before Chrylser regains it's title of the old days. My dad always said there where two departments at Chrysler that never spoke to each other. Drive Train and "All other stuff" and that a Dodge could go 300 thousand miles but the window cranks would be gone and you would be steering it with a pipe wrench.



We need to get a Delaer rating system online to let the DeLiars feel our pain as a group when we have problems. Maybe a weekly conference call by a designated board of the groups best nad-busters. United we stand divided highways we drive!
