Is the clocking mentioned in the install manual for the upgrade kit?
Have you had a chance to take it back in? Pump timing was going to be my guess as well - they might have timed the pump, but not the engine to TDC prior to installing the new pump. The 3-rotor pump needs to match the firing of the engine.
Your '14 would have been timed from the factory...every 6.7L has been so.
I haven't yet. Haven't driven it since I got it back!
I wonder what the certain open recalls are that they are referring to on your 2019 ram?I took my truck in for the inspection in June. They supposedly ordered the part with a big national back order note on the ticket.
Yesterday after 4 phone calls over two months they say the part is here come in tomorrow. Arrange for temporary transportation and a ride. Drop it off and two hours later I get the phone call stating the 2019 does not have a repair remedy available unless it has certain open recalls.
I called Ram customer care and was told the same thing.
Same here. Even before the recall was officially announced I had made an appointment to beat the rush. They gave me a service date of a week later. They called me back a half hour later and said sorry charlie. February 2023 now for the 19’s, supposedly.I took my truck in for the inspection in June. VB6 and W03 were early recalls on the 19’s. From what I’ve read the emission update (VB6) does not play nice with the CP4 recall software and they need further time to address the issues it was causing. You would think it would overwrite it but I guess not.I wonder what the certain open recalls are that they are referring to on your 2019 ram?
It can't be easy to put together kits for hundreds of thousands of vehicles while continuing to build parts for current production engines...not on a good day even, but especially in today's ****show. While I'm glad the recall has happened, the rollout of it has been frustrating. Reading here and other boards how some call the SA and two weeks later recall complete. Others like my self, have VIN checked in July, waiting months for pump etc or even worse no parts at all for 2019's....
