Burgulars "Need Protection?

I need help...bad.....

Just got home from my 20th H. S. Reunion and was pretty interesting. The old saying is true... the girls that were not so pretty in HS are attractive now and some of the girls that were hot in HS are not so pretty now...

There was a boat cruise on Friday night (on Lake Superior) that I missed and the dinner was last night. Wish I could have gone on the boat cruise instead because more people were there.

The highlight of the reunion, one of my best friends in HS now drives a 97 CTD:cool:

hmm... i don't have many memories from HS at all, i am not really incontact with people from HS now either, but if i see them somewhere, we usually will shoot the breeze for a while. same for collage. . i see them once in a while, but i don't know. . i have no real desire to keep up the friendships with these people even though i was good friends with them back then... also might have been better if i didn't drop out of HS to take a single night school class to graduate. .

but i don't have to worry about a HS reunion anytime soon. my hs diploma says 2000 as the grad. date...

Screw the losers I went to school with, the ones I missed then probably aren't worth the trouble now... .....

Why so negative guys  . Granted, I was not the most popular guy in H. S. , but I had a blast at my 20 yr. (1980 - 2000). It did my heart good to see how some of the know it alls' were now reduced to NORMALCY. People I thought would set the world on fire (career wise) were proven to be normal.

I got along with everybody, ie. preps, freaks, druggies, motorheads. You get the picture. MN Cummins Lvr is correct that those who seemed the best and brightest didn't turn out that way. Case in point, two guys who were considered "remedial" own a state of the art custom paint shop now and do work for folks all over the country. By knowing the area where they live, I can assure you that they ain't workin for peanuts.

To anyone who has one coming up, I say go. My wife, who did not grow up in my hometown, could not believe all the people who came up to me and started talking about old times. She said that I must have known everyone in my class (458 I think). I said no, i was just a regular guy who knows alot of folks!!!!!

The best things about high school were never!! inside the walls of the school, like quary partys and road tripin. Life does NOT revolve around H S after you get out one should realize that everything that was done in H S means nothing ( . ) I have missed all three of my reunions and it doesn't bother me a bit. The people I want to look up I do and the ones I don't I don't so be it.

I went to my ten year reunion, 9 years ago, made piece with the guy whose car I ran into in auto shop and offended the women I had a crush on in geometry.

Then I proceeded to have a great time.

I don't think I'll go to another reunion though... that's next year, we'll see.

They just had a 5 year reunion this year for my class, needless to say I didn't go. I think it was mostly for people who hadn't moved on from their "high school life", and wanted to rekindle those days. Most of my friends went to another school, and I didn't like the people from my school. Go figure. :)

Never been to one (over 30 years now), and I doubt I ever will. Hardly remember anyone from HS, kids or teachers.

I went to my 10th year reunion. The only reason I went was my best friend in HS was supposed to go, but he didnt show up.

I was working for the 20th reunion, and didnt really care to go.

I guess had fun in the 10th, we "limited out" the open bar, they started serving some rot gut "like Jack Daniels" stuff. It even tried to look like JD, black label and all. :D

Free alcohol notwithstanding, I dont think I'll be going to any more.

Let's see, my 40 year reunion will be coming up in 2006. Haven't been to any of the others - doubt I'll make that one, either.

Last weekend we went to the wife's 20th. That was kinda cool. I didn't know anyone except the friends she kept that were in town, her old "running buddies" she calls them. We hang out with them every now and again, so it was just another get-together with regards to them.

We partied though, and I met a former Bud Light girl and swimsuit model (dang she was cute), a few salespeople, a psychologist, and many oil field workers.

My 20th comes up in 5 years... dunno if I'll go or not, depends on if I get an invitation... . I haven't kept up with a soul from HS and doubt any of them could even find me down here in TX.

Never went to my own. Everybody I knew in HS is either locked up or dead by now (class of 1977).

I did go to a girl friends 5 year. IT was full of people pretending to be something there not. Lots of rental cars in the parking lot and tons of BS inside.

reunions

I missed my 10th,due to just moving 1700 miles west. So I went to the 20th as a combo visit with family and friends. For me, it was fun. But that may be due to living so far from the old stomping grounds. I did smell a lot of odd smoke in the parking lot! And our class prankster is now chief of police! He knew all the hooligans because he was one. Next year is 30, may go, may not. My wife has missed all of hers... ... . Must be due to parochial school. Don.

I went to my 20th and one of my classmates was still in college. He finished college before our 25th and actually got married for the 1st time too. Probably the smartest person in our class!!

Went to my wife's 10th and an old girl friend make several frank passes at me everytime my wife left the room. Wife wouldn't let me go to her 20th. I wonder why.

I missed my 35th. It was just a bunch of old people that showed up anyhow! They sent me a picture.

I blew off my 10 year reunion. Went to my 20 Year reunion in 2001. It was neat. I'm glad I went. It was like going back to high school for a night. I was nervous as hell before I got there. It is cool having a group of 200 or so people the same age.
